President's Corner

Hello BEPC Members!

I am so excited to be sending out my first President’s Corner message as we head toward the fall. It means pumpkin spice lattes and the beginning of BEPC events to keep your calendars full into year end.

I wanted to highlight two things in my first posting.

First, we have once again been chosen as the Council of Excellence award recipient by NAEPC (National Association of Estate Planners and Councils).

BEPC is being recognized with NAEPC's highest council honor for providing an extraordinary level of member service and contributing to the success of their members, the estate planning profession, and ultimately their community. Thank you to the FY24 Council Outreach Committee for its time and hard work in preparing and submitting our application!

Second, I hope that you have all had a chance to check out the new BEPC website, which launched in late June 2024. The website has a fresh new look to help you navigate all things BEPC!

In late August, we launched an additional online feature, the BEPC Career Center, accessible from the homepage. This page is not only for the posting of and searching for job listings, but it provides tips on interviewing, resume and career growth.

As always, a reminder that the best way to stay connected to BEPC and the estate and wealth planning community is through committee volunteerism. The committee chairs and board members are all here to answer any questions if you are interested in joining a committee. Learn more about the committees at your convenience by watching our spotlight videos.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Fall Kickoff Networking Reception on September 19th at the Exchange Conference Center. If you haven’t signed up already, please do so!

Welcome to another year!

Alisa Kim O’Neil, BEPC President
