It’s time to register for BEMA Israel 2024! You can find all the details you need, including dates and prices, with the button below. Even with the state of things in the Middle East at this moment, we are still proceeding with plans for next year’s trips. We are hopeful, prayerful, and optimistic. (However, please see the note about cancellation at the end of this section.)

PLEASE NOTE: This is the physically strenuous, “FULL CONTACT” version of the Israel trip. It will involve 7–12 miles of daily hiking and 1800+ feet of daily elevation change in warm temperatures. If you are not physically able, this is not the trip you want; please wait for the next “low-contact” opportunity (spring of 2026).

We ask that you watch the orientation video for this trip so you are fully informed. We do expect this trip to fill up in less than an hour and move to a wait list; don’t delay in registering if you know you want to participate.

Refund/cancellation: If a trip is canceled, there is a refund, but not a full refund. Because flights and the land portions of the tour are paid months in advance, GTI has to work with the airlines and other vendors to recoup as much of the participants’ money as possible. GTI pays non-refundable deposits to some vendors and there could be other penalties. Typically, participants receive back what they paid minus $400 to $700 per person. GTI recommends considering trip insurance. More details are available on the registration page at the button above.

Melissa’s Story

This is Melissa.

Melissa is blown away on a weekly basis by the questions explored on the podcast. She finds her Bible study has been rejuvenated as so many questions she had set aside are contextualized. She can remember being intrigued when Marty shared about his experience of the Bible not working for him in the first episode as he explained the heart behind BEMA. She knew those thoughts and experiences.

Today, Melissa facilitates two BEMA groups: one full of ladies whom she has studied with for over 15 years, and another group of young adults, ages 15–29. Below are just some of the many things shared by those in her groups.

BEMA has provided answers to questions I have wondered my entire life—a completeness I never knew existed. These teachings have brought me peace and understanding that has encouraged me and pushed me in my intimate relationship with the Lord. I respect Marty and admire his humble posture.
