BEMA Turkey 2024

It’s time to start talking about BEMA Turkey 2024! We’re just one year away from our next trip to Turkey to study the book of Revelation and Paul’s ministry. The trip is scheduled for June 2–14, but dates are not finalized until registration opens. (See details.)

In order for people to be fully prepared and informed about their decision and all the questions that arise, we have an orientation for you to watch. We expect registration to fill up quickly (Low-Contact Israel was full in 5 hours), so make sure you’re ready and prepared to register in August. (See registration details.)

We ask that you watch the orientation video for this trip BEFORE you register so you are fully informed. Again, we expect this trip to fill up quickly and move to a wait list; don’t delay in registering if you know you want to participate. See this page for everything you need to know about when and where to register.

Resource Highlight

Occasionally (but regularly) we see requests for a compilation of all of our referenced resources. We have a page that offers just that. You won’t find anything* here that isn’t already in the show notes of our episodes, but sometimes it is helpful to have everything in one place.

*One exception: At the top of the Resources page, there is a glossary of terms used in the podcast that we have been developing as we edit and publish transcripts. The glossary currently only includes terms used through the end of Session 3, but it will be updated as we go.

What’s Happening Around the Globe?

The Story of BEMA Chiang Mai

This is (an idea from) BEMA Chiang Mai.

In order to reflect on the things God had taught them through BEMA, they created a “timeline of learning.” After finishing Session 2, they constructed a physical representation of all the ideas they had gathered along their journey.

“On small cards, each person in the group wrote down every key point, theme, person, event, and word they could remember from our study through Tanakh. After finishing, we started putting the cards in order around the room. We quickly realized how challenging this was because of overlapping events, controversies about the timeline of some events, and plain old failing memories.

“Putting the timeline together was really fun, and it was so cool to see just how much we had learned! Tanakh made more sense as a whole. After the timeline was finished, we read every card out loud from beginning to end and discussed as we went along.”

We thought this was such a fantastic idea, and we had to share it with others! We love seeing the creativity of groups come to life and watch them develop ideas we would never think of. Way to go, BEMA Chiang Mai!
