Join Maria Parrott-Ryan for a discussion about her newly-released book, Mysterious Glowing Mammals: An Unexpected Discovery Sparks a Scientific Investigation, about the Northland College discovery of flying squirrels that glowed pink under ultraviolet light, which led to even more discoveries. Mysterious Glowing Mammals, Millbrook Press, a division of Lerner Books, was released last month.

They were a giant hit over Applefest and a great way to warm up in the chillier weather alongside our fire pit. We can still use more apples for the Community Cider project.

Mother Susan Somer will celebrate the Lord in Holy Eucharist with sacred songs by Artist in Residence Julie Poepping. We will pray for peace in Israel and Palestine. Our Chapel will be open daily for community prayer and meditation as we strive for justice, respect the dignity of every human being, and ask that the souls of the departed (whatever their faith) rest in peace. We ask the Lord to end hostilities and be with those who suffer.
