2021 BABC OC Membership
Mark Davis-Powell
BABC OC Membership Chair
Dear BABC-OC Members and Friends,

On behalf of the BABC Orange County and our board of directors, it gives me great pleasure to welcome our members and thank you all personally for your continued support, and for your loyal membership renewal each year. We appreciate your investment immensely, as it enables us to provide real value in return by organizing business and social networking events throughout the year. Your membership also gives you access to the BABC’s broader transatlantic business network and advisory services. Additional member benefits include access to marketing opportunities locally while gaining valuable business insights and cultural intelligence through our affiliation with the British Consulate. In 2020 we added a brand-new website where you can promote your company, and also a LinkedIn group to add greater networking opportunities with fellow Brits and Americans in similar industries to yours.  Last but not least, in the works for 2021 is a totally new US chapter wide searchable member database. This is an exclusively members only privilege, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to increase your business connectivity and also build new potential friendships for the future.

Needless to say, we have all been enduring significant challenges over the last year on a personal and professional level due to the pandemic.  This has of course restricted us in terms of live events last year being cancelled, but steadfast and confident we remain that we can safely get together later in 2021 after vaccines have been administered, and so with that goal we have tentatively planned the following event calendar:

Noteworthy: We are planning a Classic Car event for British and American automobiles, a “British Brands” networking event, and a British Festival in partnership with Orange County Soccer Club

To register as a member, visit www.babcoc.org and with just a few clicks and you will be ready to take advantage of all the (members only) privileges such as free online webinars and virtual events we share within the larger BABC organization and chapters, locally, nationwide, and in the UK.

Many thanks everyone! Feel free to reach out to Jacquie Blair with any questions.

Regards,

Orange County Soccer Club joins the newly formed
2021 Pacific Division.
It was recently announced that the USL Championship season will begin in early May, and we look forward to our finalized pre-season and regular season schedule announcement in the coming weeks.
As we continue to evaluate the status of COVID-19 in our area and prepare to provide the safest environment for our players, staff and fans, we are actively working with local public health officials and the USL. We look to finalize stadium requirements, safety protocols and capacity for our fans as soon as safely possible.
We cannot wait to see you back at Championship Soccer Stadium to cheer on the boys in a special 2021 season!
Thank you again to everyone who has supported us throughout this year, and for enabling the BABC Orange County to survive and sustain. We truly cannot tell you how much we appreciate your ongoing support as we continue to navigate these unchartered waters.

We look forward to the day that we can gather together and raise a glass in person to cheers to brighter days in 2021!
