Deep down, all manufacturers know that automation is a key to improved productivity.  It's not just producing more product faster as some might think.  It is reducing scrap, minimizing defects and delivering the perfect products that your customers expect......on time (elimination of post manufacture corrective actions and remediation).  Our European competitors found this out years ago as their cost (both business and social) increased and labor in developing countries became the focus of expansion.  The problem, of course, was that agility was lost and management costs increased.

Today's automation fills much of this requirement and, when designed properly to fit your processes and culture, will the deliver high quality products as well as the payback.    Coupled with a skilled workforce, we will be competitive against anyone in the world.   More important, we are able to accomplish this while maintaining tight control over product quality and responsiveness to our customers.

This recent issue of the Milwaukee Biz Times contained several articles that reflected the opportunity we have.  I have attached one for your perusal.

By the way:  With the recent tax proposals put on the table in Washington DC, Automation becomes  even more relevant.
