Rotary Smart Stage Life Test

160 million random steps achieved | Lifetime specification updated

The M3-RS-U Rotary Smart Stage has successfully completed its latest life test:

160 million random steps
Random step size from 0° to 40° with average about 13°
2 billion degrees total rotation
Moment of inertia load ~4 gmm² on a horizontal rotation axis

As a result , the lifetime specification for the M3-RS-U Rotary Smart Stage has been increased to 100 million random steps.

T hese rotary microstages are designed for beam steering and mirror positioning applications requiring precise, point-to-point positioning or dynamic scanning up to 100 Hz.
