AURORA, ILLINOIS (JUNE 4, 2018)β€”The Aurora Area CVB and the Aurora Area Sports Alliance are the winners of a 2018 Reader's Choice Award given by Sports Destination Management magazine.

The Aurora Area was selected by readers of Sports Destination Management as a "Favorite Small Market Destination" for its outstanding collection of athletic venues for professional, amateur, and youth sports; convenient location relative to Chicago along I-88; and family-friendly tourist attractions including Raging Waves Waterpark, Chicago Premium Outlets, and the award-winning Paramount Theatre.

Formed in 1987, the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and marketing the area as a visitor destination.
