New Works
A collaboration between BFA students at the
Institute of Art & Design at NEC and the NH Furniture Masters
You don't want to miss this collaborative exhibition showcasing the work of our Summer Mentorship Program with students from the Institute of Art and Design at New England College (formerly New Hampshire Institute of Art).
All summer long, a select group of students have been visiting the Masters' workshops, learning about fine furniture making and discussing their inspirations and creative processes. Taking what they saw and learned from the Masters, the students reflected and created a response piece in their own medium. Both the work of the Furniture Masters' and the response pieces will be on display as part of New Works f rom August 22 - October 3 in French Hall at New England College's Manchester campus.

Join us for a free Opening Reception on Thursday, September 5 from 5-7pm.

A People’s Choice Award will be awarded to one student participating in this exhibition. We invite you to fill out a ballot casting a vote for your favorite response piece when you visit the  New Works  exhibition.
