Did you know...

there is a private Facebook group for Parent Contacts? We hear Parent Contacts tell us they would like to be in touch with other families in the role, but that traveling to meet can be hard. If you are on Facebook, and would like a way to talk with other Parent Contacts, you can request membership by clicking here, or searching for "EIPLP Parent Contacts " on Facebook. All requests from current Parent Contacts will be approved.

As a parent or caregiver of a young child, you have important ideas about how your city or town can support you and your family and provide connections to other families, resources and services.  The Massachusetts Essentials for Childhood Initiative is trying to understand the ways in which cities and towns support social connections for families with children ages 0-5, both formally (with schools, health care providers, and other services) as well as informally with other families, neighbors and community members. Please complete this 10 item questionnaire! Your answers will help Essentials create a resource guide for cities and towns that will include ideas for how they can provide useful programs and supportive environments for families with young children. If you would like to be entered into a raffle for one of ten $50 gift cards, please provide your email address at the end of the survey. Your contact information and survey responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared by the Essentials for Childhood team. Raffle prizes will be drawn on August 10th.

We love that you are here!

Parent Contacts are an important part of the Massachusetts Early Intervention System. Parent Contacts are parents and guardians of children currently receiving EI services, and who volunteer to receive information from the EIPLP and share it with other families. If your child is no longer receiving services, or you no longer wish to be the Parent Contact for your EI program, please let us know by calling
1-877-353-4757 or emailing so that we can identify another family from your program.
