HUBZone Sole-Source Coming Soon

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is continuing its efforts to strengthen the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) program. Federal agencies have struggled since the HUBZone program’s inception to meet the goal of awarding 3% of federal contracting dollars to small businesses located in economically distressed communities.

No-Cost Bid Match for women, minority-owned firms

Washington PTAC’s electronic Bid Matching system has been a valuable, time-saving tool for clients of the PTAC program. For $165/year, businesses can subscribe to receive a daily email of opportunities that match the products/services they sell. Through a new partnership with Washington State’s Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises, PTAC is able to offer no-cost bid matching to State Certified firms (MBE, MWBE, WBE, CBE, or SEDBE). See details here.
