"The Young Artists' Program has helped me improve my audition skills, especially how to be more centered and confident going into an audition room. I will definitely apply that to my later career. It’s been great having this as a job. Getting to perform and do what I love, and getting paid for it at the same time, is really cool."

Mia, rising 12th grader, on her experience with the Young Artists Program (YAP) at Summer Camp. The YAP prepared students of working age for careers in the performing arts. Courses included audition preparation, singer-songwriter masterclasses, vocal studio classes, and more! Most Young Artists earned a wage for their participation in the YAP thanks to partnerships with the City of Wilmington and New Castle County.

What to Expect:

We will learn some easy songs from genres including gospel, folksongs, and more. Conductors will teach by ear, so you don't need to know how to read music!

Light refreshments will be provided, and our friendly singers and staff will welcome you into the Choir School family!
