We are people of hope! A living hope that by Christ’s cross and resurrection, we are saved from our sins to live in newness of life now and in joyful anticipation of His return (Matthew 1:21; Romans 6:4; I Corinthians 15:20). Although we will grieve due to the brokenness of this world, we do not grieve as those without hope (I Thessalonians 4:13). Even in suffering, He leads us to have the kind of hope that does not put us to shame (Romans 5:5) but trusts in His perfect, unending love (I John 4:10).
Living in the hope of Christ, we look forward to the 2025 Minnesota North District Convention in Grand Rapids, MN. The Board of Directors chose this theme to point all of us to hope we all have in Christ, by faith through Baptism, no matter our circumstance. Our two and a half days together next year will be saturated in worship, prayer, fellowship, and an enriching Bible study of Peter’s first epistle. See ya there!
In Christ (I Timothy 6:12)

On July 7 Immanuel, Fergus Falls had a special worship service in observance of Independence Day with special music and recognition of veterans. After the service, worshippers recessed to the cemetery on Highway 10 where we dedicated a new flagpole and U.S. flag. May this flag stir up within us and all who see it as they pass on the highway a new appreciation of the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness we enjoy in this land of the free and a greater readiness to serve our nation under God. | |

Church Worker Recruitment Funds Available
One of the best ways to encourage members of your congregation to consider a career in church work is through a visit to one of our Concordia Universities. We would like to encourage these visits by helping with a portion of the expense. The Campus Visit Expense reimbursement form is available on the forms section of our website. Prospective students can be reimbursed for up to $300 in travel expenses when they visit a Concordia campus. This is a great way to begin the conversation with someone you believe has the skills and gifts to serve the church!
