The 16th Annual Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue 5k & Fun Run is a family and dog friendly event. There will be various routes outlined from a short loop to a full 5k. Bring your dog-friendly dog, family, and friends to walk or run, and visit our sponsors and join the fun!

If you aren’t able to come in person, there is a Virtual option. You will receive your race goodie bag by mail prior to race day so that you can run, walk, hike (or even sleep in) the day of to show your support! Enter pictures of your “Virtual Run” into our photo contests to be considered for various prizes.

The first 250 registrants will receive a goodie bag filled with lots of swag for you and your dog! We will have great raffle prizes for those attending the event in-person as well as prizes for the photo contest for virtual participants.

The City of Englewood is proud to announce the launch of a new “EARN (Explore And Reward Network)” rewards app, Open Rewards, a move that brings significant benefits to Englewood’s residents and visitors. Now, every time consumers shop in a local Englewood small business, they can earn 5% back on purchases. This is a unique opportunity to support local businesses and get rewarded for it. The first 200 people to sign up for the program will receive an exclusive bonus of $5 in free rewards, adding an extra incentive to participate.

This customer rewards program launches as a partnership between the City of Englewood, Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce, Englewood Downtown Development Authority and technology company BluDot; the program encourages shoppers to earn cash-back rewards while spending at Englewood small businesses. The program is a key part of the City of Englewood’s strategy to incentivize consumers to shop locally and stimulate the local economy.

Consumers can enroll in the program by downloading BluDot’s Open Rewards app on their smartphones, adding payment cards to their accounts, or uploading receipts from small business merchants.
