Illuminate With Leadership November 16, 2023

Tickets are now available for Leadership Howard County's Illuminating Leadership Event on Thursday, November 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at HCC's Horowitz Center. LHC is thrilled to be honoring Key Leader, Zack Shariff, LP '12, and 2023's recipients of the Best Class Ever (BCE), Emerging Leader and Corporate Community Impact Awards.

Announcing LHC's first inaugural "Service Friday" to benefit Prepare for Success on Friday, September 8 from 10 am to 12 pm. There are many ways members may participate - beginning August 7 through September 8 - from donating supplies, or funds to purchase supplies, or volunteering time to assemble backpacks at The Rouse Exhibit Center, located at 10215 Wincopin Circle, Suite 200, Columbia. Please note that the Exhibit Center is NOT a drop-off location; only an assembly site.
School supplies may be dropped off at the LHC (Leadership Howard County) offices on Tuesdays - Wednesdays - Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Please email Karen Bryant if you need to arrange an alternate drop off day/time. Let us know how you can help by accessing the Sign-Up Genius.

Participants should plan to dress comfortably and be ready to walk! | |

LHC's fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. Members are encouraged to renew their dues today. A reminder went out in early July, in case you missed it, click here to read the FY24 Dues Appeal. New for this year, are various "package options" offered under the L500 umbrella. The L500 option is a way for members to lead the way and give back more than dues, and support LHC while covering the cost to attend LHC events... learn more.

The Howard County Veterans Foundation will hold a panel discussion and book signing with Lena Andrews, author of the new book, Valiant Women, which tells the story of the 350,000 women who served in uniform during World War II. The event will take place Thursday, September 7 from 5 to 7 pm at Busboys and Poets in Columbia.
