C Street Walking Tour & Community Workshop |
|
Aim Consulting is working with the City of Galt on the C St Enhancement Project. One of the goals is to feature C Street as the primary entrance for visitors into Galt. The City understands that community feedback is crucial when strategizing a plan that will affect many individuals and businesses in the area. All are invited and encouraged to attend the C St Enhancement Project Workshop on Thursday, July 22nd, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Chabolla Community Center (610 Chabolla Ave).
Just before the workshop, the project team will offer a walking tour of C St. This will give everyone a chance to visualize potential enhancements as well as provide feedback on ideas, ask questions, and voice any concerns.
Please register in advance so they have an idea of how many to expect. By attending the walking tour and the meeting, you will have a chance to have your ideas and concerns heard by the City and your questions answered.

Taxpayers' Bill of Rights Meeting |
|
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is holding an informational virtual meeting to explain the Taxpayers' Bill of Rights. This meeting will be conducted by a Taxpayers' Rights Advocate and is an opportunity to learn, ask questions and make suggestions.
Proposals for change to laws, policies, and procedures, in addition to suggestions on how to improve relationship between taxpayers and the CDTFA are welcome at this meeting. This meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams on Thursday, August 12th at 9:30 am and will be recorded. If you are interested in speaking at this event, or to submit your comments in writing, please contact txrtsweb@cdtfa.ca.gov by July 31, 2021.
