There's still time to submit your entries to a very special All Media Show coming in August, Color Theory. The theme celebrates and explores the Richmond LGBTQ+ community through visual art.
In the main gallery, we are presenting Color Theory - the Richmond Queer Art Experience which includes an installation curated by Chris Schoen, a collection of gay artists' work that examines and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community. The All Media Show is part of this showcase.
Submit your entries using the link below. Priority is given to artwork by the LGBTQ+ community but all are encouraged to apply.
The deadline is August 12th at noon.
There are cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to be awarded by the juror Andrew Norris. Norris is an artist and educator living and working in Richmond, VA. He received his BFA from East Tennessee State University and his MFA from the University of Florida where he also earned a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Sexualities and Women’s Studies,
The exhibit continues through September 20th in celebration of Virginia Pridefest (September 14th).
