Students of Grace
SOG had 37 amazing Middle and High School students join us for our annual summer trip. This year we joined Generate Camp by YM360 held at the Estes Park YMCA. Students and leaders enjoyed meals together, daily devotionals, worship and of course, tons of fun! We are continuing to enjoy Campfire Convos on Wednesday nights at Pastor J.’s home. Children's Ministry
In August, our K-5th graders will be going through a series titled "Game Plan", which is full of fun games, object lessons, and crafts each Sunday morning starting at 10am. We cover a Big Idea every week. This month's Big Ideas include ‘Making peace is part of God’s game plan’ (1 Samuel 25), 'Following God is the best game plan' (2 Samuel 6), 'Showing kindness is in God’s game plan’' (2 Samuel 9) and 'Forgiveness is always God’s game plan' (2 Samuel 11).
Drama Ministry
The outdoor ministry has had a fun summer so far! We had a wonderful nature walk around Cherry Creek on June 15th as well as a moderate hike in Stauten Park on June 22nd. Yesterday, we also had a great day Paddleboarding and Kayaking yesterday at Aurora Reservoir!

Student Ministry- Middle Schoolers!
Starting today 08/04, we are starting a 3-week Middle School only series during Sunday service. We will meet in the main building and go to the south building when Pastor goes up to teach. This includes our incoming 6th graders!
Starting 08/14 on Wednesday evenings: In video games, when you face challenges and make mistakes there's always the option to start over. In real life, it's not so easy to recover, but Jesus gives us a chance to restart — no matter how difficult our circumstances. In this 3-week devotional series, we will look together at people in the Bible who needed God's help to give them a restart and discover how we can trust God, and His promises.
Women's 3-Week Bible Study: Fridays, August 9th-23rd | 9am
Embark on a journey through Paul’s Letter to the Galatians by Darlene Schacht with this heartwarming and insightful journal, designed to draw you closer to the heart of God's Word. Crafted with love and wisdom, this book fits wonderfully into small group study, as you can savor the pages in their personal time and then come together to share their insights. Women of Grace @ Quilts of Valor: August 17th | 9:30am
Join the women of COG as we journey back in time at 17-Mile House. We will learn the basics of quilting while sewing quilt squares for a Veteran's quilt and take a tour of the 17 Mile High and Barn. Admission is free with 17-mile house, but registration is recommended by calling or emailing Karen at 17 Mile house. For more info contact Carol Bryan.
New Comer's Social: August 25th | 12pm
Pastor Joel and Catherine are hosting a New Comer’s luncheon at their home and would be thrilled if you could attend. This is an opportunity for those are who are newer to COG and would like to get to know a little about who we are, our staff members and their familes. We welcome you and your children to join! Betterman is coming!
BetterMan is a 10-week study on becoming what it means to be godly. This study provides a scorecard and helped establish what "par" is for being a better Dad, Husband, and an all around better man. It will be a great time of building friendships with other men and looking at practical tools that will help us grow as men of God. More info coming soon!
