Join the Dayspring Preschool and Kindergarten at Jeremiah's Italian Ice TODAY, Thursday, August 31, from noon to close. Twenty percent of sales will be donated to our preschool and kindergarten when you mention Dayspring!

Children's Sunday School will not meet on Sunday, due to the holiday weekend. Child care will be available for kids up to age 8 in Room 117 and Children’s Worship Guide folders with puzzles and coloring pages are always available in the narthex across from the welcome table.

BeTween, our service and fellowship ministry for kids in 4th-6th grades returns at 6:45pm on September 6. We are looking for volunteers to lead or co-lead different Wednesday evenings throughout the year. If you have questions or are interested in helping out, please email Andrea.

We host our annual Flu Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 10 from 9:15am until noon in the Fellowship Hall. You do not need to be a member of Dayspring to participate. Costs vary, depending on insurance. Immunizations for persons age 4 and over. No appointment necessary.

Our annual Ministry Fair is September 10, following the 10:00 service. This is a great chance to learn more about all the incredible things happening at our church!

Bible Sunday is September 17! If you have a child in third grade or older who has not yet received a Bible and would like your child to participate, please email Andrea with the name you would like printed on your child’s Bible. 

With the temporary move to one combined service, you're probably seeing a lot more unfamiliar faces on Sunday mornings. We're encouraging everyone to wear their name tags during this time (and beyond)! Plus, it'll help Pastor Michael learn all of our names faster! The S.A.G.E. team (Spiritual Activists Greening the Earth) encourages Dayspring members to protect God’s sacred creation by taking one or two new steps to reduce our use of plastic. Plastic contributes to the carbon footprint in multiple ways: from oil extraction, during the manufacturing process, and when it breaks down. Plastic dominates ocean garbage and fills up landfills, where sunlight and heat cause it to release methane and ethylene as it breaks down. Wind-driven wildfires on Maui have prompted evacuations and caused significant loss of life and widespread damage. UMCOR is coordinating with the California-Pacific Annual Conference to process an initial grant for emergency supplies such as shelf-stable food, water, hygiene items and tools to help survivors recover belongings.
