Rose Luna brings over 19 years of experience to the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA), having served in various capacities before assuming the CEO role in September 2017. Under her leadership, TAASA has become a powerful voice for survivors through public policy advocacy, coalition building, and a survivor-centered approach. A seasoned advocate, Rose is a respected speaker, trainer, and writer whose work has garnered statewide and national recognition. Her commitment extends beyond TAASA, as she serves on key leadership boards, including the Governor's Office task force on sexual assault survivors and the Texas Victim's Service Association. Rose's unique blend of direct service experience, business acumen, and marketing expertise positions her as a transformative leader at the forefront of change.

About the Speaker


From Safe Mothers to Saving Babies Dr. Page’s research impact is profound. She is the founding Director of the ‘Program of Excellence for Mothers, Children and Families’ to address gaps and save lives in underserved areas across Texas, the nation, and the world. Dr. Page is the sole Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife appointed by the Health and Human Services Commissioner to the Texas Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Review Committee, embodying the voice of Certified Nurse Midwives serving diverse populations across the state. As the selected maternal health researcher on the Texas Research-to-Policy Collaborative, she advises legislators on health policy. She mentors dozens of undergraduate and graduate students culminating in 14 student-led publications in high-impact journals. Dr. Page’s awards include the highest honors in the profession – being selected as a Fellow in the American College of Nurse Midwives (FACNM) in 2021 and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) in 2023.
