Course 12832

According to Lorraine Besser, Professor of Philosophy at Middlebury College, psychological richness, that which helps make life more interesting, is a key ingredient for a good life. Psychological richness derives from experiences of things that stimulate and engage us. Hear about Besser's research on what makes for a good life, the subject of her upcoming book, The Art of the Interesting (on-sale September 10, 2024). Learn how to cultivate the “interesting” through mindfulness, novelty, turning obstacles into adventures, and friendships. Time will be reserved for audience Q&A. Session will be recorded and sent to enrolled students to view for up to one week.

Register now as the next step in adding more psychological richness into your life through lifelong learning at Scarsdale Adult School!
