Dear PVRW and Friends,
I had the opportunity to experience one of the most amazing events in my life last Friday, when I volunteered at the Trump Rally in Glendale. I thank the wonderful women of my club who helped make this happen (Jamie, Deb, Nancy and Charmaine) for me.
The entire event was exciting. I was thrilled to be there and around so many people who truly love our country. I didn’t hear one single negative, mean or rude comment all day. It was uplifting and motivating. The energy was electric. I had goosebumps all day.

I thought it couldn’t get any better until DJT brought RFK Jr. onto the stage and he received the warmest welcome from 16,000+ people. It was a packed house! I was brought to tears. RFK Jr. does not share all of our opinions for sure. BUT…he does share a genuine love of America and wants what is best for our children and our well-being. We can’t all agree on every single detail, but if we keep the welfare of our children and the future of a free America in our sights, we can UNIFY and sprint to the finish line.
RFK Jr. put this out today. I thought you would all like to read it.
“What "MAGA" really means…
The phrase has troubled liberals who think it is a call for a return to an America before civil rights, gay rights, and women's rights. But I have a more generous interpretation, one that is truer to my experience of Donald Trump as he is today. "Make America Great Again" recalls a nation brimming with vitality, with a can-do spirit, with hope and a belief in itself. It was an America that was beginning to confront its darker shadows, could acknowledge the injustice in its past and present, yet at the same time could celebrate its successes. It was a nation of broad prosperity, the world's most vibrant middle class, and an idealistic belief (though not consistently applied) in freedom, justice, and democracy. It was a nation that led the world in innovation, productivity, and technology. And it was the healthiest country in the world. I have talked to many Trump supporters. I have talked with his inner circle. I have talked to the man himself. This is the America they want to restore.”
I am proud to be MAGA. Don’t ever let the Democrats/Liberal/Marxist/Socialist/Communist make you feel guilty for standing loud and proud and shouting it from the rooftops that you LOVE AMERICA and want all that our Constitution stands for back!
Let’s do everything we can to take back our country!
Knock doors, send emails, talk to neighbors, pass out our PVRW Golden ticket (available in a printed format at our next lunch), become a poll observer or worker, vote RED for all candidates on the ballot, (if you don’t know who the Republican is in the nonpartisan races, use the golden ticket to guide you) and learn about the propositions on the ballot.
300,000 Republicans did not vote in AZ in 2022. Don’t be one of them this year!
10,000 votes could make the difference we “lost” by. VOTE - VOTE - VOTE by any means except do NOT drop off your ballot on election day. This is why our elections in AZ take so long. They don’t open those until the next day and chain of custody is iffy. Bring it in and spoil it and vote on voting day, but please don’t drop it off on Election Day.
Most importantly, PRAY!
Cindy Hill, M.Ed.

The 4th Annual KEEP AZ FREE Summit was a great success! PVRW is an annual President’s Club member because we strongly believe in the great work AZFREE does through volunteers and partnerships! Keynote Speaker Nigel Farage of the UK was extremely motivating and entertaining. James T. Harris was a great emcee and Special Guest Speaker Brandon "The Officer Tatum" made us all feel that United We Win!
PVRW members came out strong to support their efforts and we thank them!!

The summer is coming to a Calendar close, but the heat remains. By the time you read this, our summer travels will be ending. I hope many of you had the opportunity to escape the heat.
I want to thank Councilwoman elect, Jan Dubauskas, for handling the meeting for me. She’s amazing, and our Club is so blessed with so many hard-working women. Thank you, Jan.
Our September meeting will present the pro and con sides of the Scottsdale tax
initiatives. David Smith will present the “No” arguments and former Mayor, Mary
Manross, will present the “yes” positions.
One of the absolute most critical elections will be the Supreme Court Retention of
Justice Clint Bolick. The Radicals are creating a witch hunt on him, and he is one of the
Justices that actually FOLLOWS THE LAW. He will be joining us and speaking about
this very important, and often overlooked, part of the election.
Rudy Fisher and Brian Biesemeyer are running for the Central Arizona Water Project,
and they will share their visions on protecting our most precious water resource.
Lastly, Lisa Borowsky, candidate for Scottsdale Mayor, is facing a run-off against
Incumbent Mayor Ortega. We all know what’s at stake for the City of Scottsdale, so
please come and listen to Lisa’s vision for the future and her leadership ideas for
leading a diverse council.
I’m so very excited about our new Venue (see below), and I know you will love it. We all need to thank Casey and Joan Lang for securing this location.
See you in September!

Thank you to everyone who brought gently used clothing for Coronado Closet! Your thoughtful donations to homeless children and their family are truly appreciated. Your kind generosity to these families in need is genuinely appreciated!!

In September, we will collect for Adopt-A-Teen, the city of Scottsdale's program to ensure that teens in need have Christmas gifts.
With your donation of gift cards, toys, or personal hygiene items, you are reminding a teenager in need that they are important to us.

Arizona Supreme Court Allows
Signature Challenge Against Prop 140 to Continue*
The Arizona Supreme Court ruled that the signature challenge lawsuit against
Proposition 140 can continue to ensure that nearly 40,000 duplicate signatures are
reviewed and removed if necessary. If these signatures are disqualified, Prop 140 may not meet the minimum required to qualify for the ballot. Prop 140 seeks to implement a California-style election system with ranked-choice voting and jungle primaries.
Despite ballots being printed as of August 23, the Court ordered that Prop 140 should
remain on the ballot. However, if the proposition is later disqualified, an injunction will be
issued to prevent votes on it from being counted.
Scot Mussi, President of the Arizona Free Enterprise Club, expressed gratitude for the
Court's decision, emphasizing the importance of careful judicial review for measures
that could transform election systems.
The Court stated, “Courts cannot be forced to rule rashly to meet a ballot printing
deadline.” The 40,000 duplicates included in Prop 140's submission were exact name
and address matches, with some individuals signing multiple times. Prop 140’s lawyers
deny that these are duplicates, but Mussi insists they should have been removed as
state law allows a person to sign only once.

Jan Stephenson: Education Committee | |
The Education Committee's next meeting will be Friday, Sept. 6th at 11:00 at Vito's (18221 N Pima, Ste. 140, Scottsdale, AZ 85255). Jackie Ulmer, Cave Creek USD Governing Board member, will report on Cave Creek's activities.
Our committee is strongly supporting PVRW members Nicole Klootwyk and Susan Winder, candidates for Paradise Valley School Board plus 3rd Republican candidate Eddie Jackson.
We also strongly support Gretchen Jacobs, Jeanne Beasley, and Drew Hassler (JBH--Just Be Honest), candidates for the Scottsdale USD Governing Board.
Because there are 4 Republican candidates running for 3 open seats for the Cave Creek USD Governing Board, our By-laws prohibit us from endorsing any candidates. We recommend members residing in the Cave Creek USD do their own investigations.
We encourage all our members to volunteer their time and talents to help elect these candidates. Because School Board Elections are non-partisan, there will not be an R beside their names. It is important that you know their names and work for them.
Thank you,

August Americanism Moment |
According to Larry Schweikart, author of 48 Liberal Lies About American History, this lie - “Restrictions on the Right to Vote Kept Voter Participation Low” - is indeed a lie.
In the early years of America, there were 6 colonies had a law stating that in order to vote, white men needed to own land and or property (in other words tax paying men) in order to vote. This encompassed approximately 6% of the population.
In 1807, unmarried women in New Jersey (widows or single women) who met the requirements of property ownership were also allowed to vote. Fairly immediately, all voting rights were taken from women. Through the years, various states allowed women to vote, and eventually, these rights were removed until 1920 when the Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution was ratified, and women were allowed to vote. This was largely due to the Women’s Suffrage Movement. In 1924, Native American women were included in the women who could vote.
Why am I including all of this? It is to make everyone aware of what women have fought for these many years, and what many women now just take for granted. As staunch
Republican women, we need to use this privilege that women fought for.
With our Country in turmoil, all who can vote should get out and do so. We need to be
very aware of our Constitutionally given rights and use them. As women, we need to not only vote but participate in poll watching in order to help prevent corruption at the polls.

John Adams' words of wisdom, “The way to secure liberty is to place it in the people’s hands, that is, to give them the power at all times to defend it in the legislature and in the courts of justice”.
Almighty God, give us the passion to defend our freedom and stand for truth in this great land.
Blessings,
