SUPPLIES 4 SUCCESS
& FRESH START FOR KIDS
Last year, the Supplies 4 Success event provided over 700 area children with backpacks and school supplies, ensuring they had the tools needed for a successful school year. This year, we're expanding our efforts to include hygiene items, giving every child a healthy fresh start. This Fresh Start for Kids expansion is a collaboration with a MACCI 2024 Leadership Marshfield project.

We are seeking community support to continue and expand this initiative. Here are ways you can make a difference:
  1. Sponsor a Child: Provide a local child with both a backpack filled with school supplies and a hygiene kit.
  2. Donate Supplies: Contribute backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene products to help area children start the school year strong.
  3. Volunteer: Give your time to help organize and distribute supplies to the children in our community.
LIVE UNITED 365 GOLF SCRAMBLE
Our Live United 365 Golf Scramble was a successful day. With 36 AMAZING teams, 22 outstanding raffle baskets, 13 extra fun hole events, 40 fantastic volunteers, and perfect weather, we raised $28,135 to support our community. We couldn’t have done it without our generous sponsors and participants.

RIGHT 2 PLAY 4 ALL
The Right 2 Play 4 All program offers children in the Marshfield area the opportunity to thrive by providing scholarships for those who wish to participate in healthy activities, but need financial assistance to cover the costs and fees. This initiative ensures that all children, regardless of their family's financial situation, can enjoy and benefit from participating in sports and activities.
We want to extend a BIG thank you to our friends at Women Helping Out (WHO) for selecting the Right 2 Play 4 All as the recipient of funds raised from their Groovy Golf Day. We had a far-out time taking part in the 60s-themed festivities and appreciate their support for this wonderful program that has such a big impact for area children.

NOW PROGRAM NEWS
The summer Nutrition On Weekends program expanded this summer! In addition to the summer NOW boxes offered at Soup or Socks, United Way also delivered food in June, July, and August to two of our highest NOW enrollment schools, Granton and Pittsville. With the help of the schools and our community partner, Soup or Socks, over 400 monthly food boxes have been provided so car this summer.

As summer comes to an end and the new school year starts, we are getting ready to pack the usual items listed on the shopping list.
