IPH HOCKEY

SESSIONS 1, 2, AND 3 ARE SOLD OUT!

Space is limited for SESSION 4!

Due to popular demand, we have added a 4th session of IPH HOCKEY CAMP!

This will be a 2-hour mini-camp featuring a fast energy-filled challenging skill session.

Session 4 will run 7/31/23 - 8/4/23 from 2:20 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.

Cost: Resident $200.00 | Non-Resident $210.00

Rates

$10 - Admission

$4 Skate Rental

Discount admission passes can not be used at a DJ Skate session.

VMSR+ Card

A new way to skate and pay!

Stop by the skating rink to receive your VMSR+ Membership Card. In order to receive a card, you must have an account with West Hartford RecDesk. To create an account, click the register button at the top of the newsletter and click the “create account” button.

The VMSR+ Membership Card can be used for admissions for rink programming. Admission passes for various skating activities can be loaded onto your card by either paying online or in person at the rink.

It’s as easy as scan and skate!

Speed Skating

Interested in trying speed skating?

3 INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS FOR NEW SKATERS - $30.00!

(ADDITIONAL ICE FEES PAID DIRECTLY TO RINK)

For individuals that want to participate in instructional sessions, coach Elena Sklutovsky is a former Ukrainian speed skating champion and US level 2 certified coach. During the session, skaters are divided in smaller groups by age and abilities. Sessions focus on speed skating techniques as well as the tactics and strategies of racing. Additional fees apply and are payable to the instructor.

A monthly tip for a better skating experience!

From The ProShop

This is a great time of the year to evaluate the condition of your skates. We install screws, rivets, eyelets, and hooks on-site in the Pro Shop.

Stop in for our sale on new and used skates and equipment!

The RinkSide Pro Shop will be open during the following hours. You can drop off skates at any time for overnight sharpening. Please see below skate sharpening protocol for more details.

We currently have a limited stock of on-sale skates, some starting at only $25.00!!!

Monday - 6:30PM - 10:00PM

Tuesday - 6:30PM - 10:00PM

Wednesday - 6:30PM - 10:00PM

Thursday - 6:30PM - 10:00PM

Friday - 6:30PM - 10:00PM

Saturday - CLOSED

Skate Sharpening Protocol

Weekdays

Monday through Friday skates are sharpened by Charlie Daly between 6:30pm - 10:00pm.

Before these hours during the week sharpening will be done by

Peter Montasano or Ean Gorilck.

All skates dropped off for sharpening, will be sharpened by the end of the day that they were dropped off. (Monday-Friday and must be dropped off before 10:00pm)

Walk-Ins Always Welcomed

Skates can be dropped off or picked up anytime the rink is open. (Pro Shop need not be open.)
Skates can be dropped off Sunday-Friday for next day pick up.
Walk-ins can wait for their skates to be sharpened if we are there sharpening the dropped off skates.
Skate sharpening by appointment can be accommodated when the drop off skate sharpening is being done.

Remember if The Rink is open, you have total access to your skates
