Embracing Changes With
Intense Focus on Our Mission

August is upon us already and with it come the winds of change! Soon, we will see the splendor of autumn, the glorious, brilliant colors of the season. We will feel the cool breezes and smell the crisp air, rich with the aroma of crimson, gold and brown molten leaves.

Nature demonstrates that change is a beautiful part of our evolution as a species and as individuals; it is part of our journey, our experience, our ability to co-create. Change is inevitable and not always easy, but it is an essential part of life. At times, change seems to set obstacles on our paths, but knowing that the challenges are there to help us grow is the key to overcoming them. Zero Dean says, "It is by overcoming obstacles that we develop new skills and new ways of handling what the rest of our lives have in store for us. If we never had a problem in our lives, we wouldn't be very able to deal with --- well LIFE, would we?"

Rest assured, TriCircle is evolving. We are fearlessly committed to embracing the changes that we are experiencing with knowing that this is exactly where we need to be. TriCircle is steadfast, strong and true. We are focused on our long and short term goals; we are counting on the people who have stayed the course, kept our mission and vision in clear focus and dedicated their energy and love to the unfolding of our plan. Each day, we are a step closer to full implementation. We are in it for the long haul. Stick with us because...

Our August Spotlight

Get Found Recovery

Adam and Lindsay Yurack

Helping those battling substance use disorder and their families find each other through recovery

Adam and Lindsay Yurack are deeply concerned about the epidemic of addiction that has caused so many mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, brother, sisters and families to lose their loved ones. Because of their personal experiences with substance use disorder, they want to make sure that no one ever faces these obstacles alone.

This dynamic duo offers motivational speaking, family and recovery coaching and has published 10 podcasts with inspirational interviews. Their style focuses on stories of recovery and personal growth and offers real life experience. TriCircle's own Executive Director, Ana Gopoian, was featured in the February 2021 podcast. Click here to listen to any of these episodes and learn how love, support and hard work play a huge role in recovery.

Lindsay and Adam believe it’s important that they continue to share their experiences with others. They have taken their compelling story to the road through their grass-roots organization called Get Found Recovery. Adam and Lindsay visit schools and facilities around the region to speak about the dangers of addiction and ways to cope if they or a loved one are struggling with substance abuse. Lindsay shared with us, "We approach addiction education from a family perspective, meaning that it’s not only focused on the person with SUD, but the family as well. It’s important to understand that substance use disorder is not just about helping the person get the help they need. It’s about healing the entire family unit and reinforcing that there’s hope for everyone – no matter how dark it looks. We hope, that in sharing our journey, we can help others overcome some of the challenges we have faced over the past years. We are overcoming addiction, together, every day."

More information about their story and the services they offer can be found on their website at getfoundrecovery.com.

August's Suggested Book Title:

The Mountain is You

by Brianna Wiest

Coexisting but conflicting needs create self-sabotaging behaviors. This is why we resist efforts to change, often until they feel completely futile. But, by extracting crucial insight from our most damaging habits and building emotional intelligence by better understanding our brains and bodies, releasing past experiences at a cellular level and learning to act as our highest potential future selves, we can step out of our own way and into our potential.
For centuries, the mountain has been used as a metaphor for the big challenges we face, especially ones that seem impossible to overcome. To scale our mountains, we actually have to do the deep internal work of excavating trauma, building resilience, and adjusting how we show up for the climb.
