CE visits those working on Christmas to keep county safe
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer visited first responders working on Christmas to keep county residents safe while we enjoyed the holiday. Paramedics in Middletown decorated their station for the holiday, as did others around the county. Over 1,000 first responders worked through the holiday. Aubrey Plaza and Dan Murphy return to read their new book
Delaware's most famous former resident, Aubrey Plaza, returned with her co-author and partner in Evil Hag Productions, Dan Murphy, to read and answer questions about the latest installment of their Christmas Witch book series. County honors homeless lost on Homeless Memorial Day
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer joined local officials and leaders at The Hope Center to honor those experiencing homelessness who lost their lives in 2022 on the annual national Homeless Persons' Memorial Day. County Executive helps tip-off Slam Dunk to the Beach
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer traveled to Lewes to help tip-off the second day of the annual Slam Dunk to the Beach tournament on Tuesday. New Castle County helped support the annual tournament which showcases some of the best high school basketball players in the country each year.
