Attention Friends of Building Energy!

Have you or someone you know been thinking about going solar?

ACT NOW!

If you plan to go solar within the next 12 months, now is the time to act! The State of Vermont is about to change the solar net-metering rate once again.

The current rate is $0.02 per kilowatt-hour (kWH) below the retail rate. This is also called the "Solar Adjustor." For any solar systems that are registered after July 1st, 2024, the Solar Adjustor will be -$0.04 / kWH. This is a huge reduction in value for solar owners and part of a nationwide trend to gut residential net metering programs. Building Energy is here to help!  We can design a solar system for your home or business and submit your  net metering registration before the end of June. This will get you a Certificate of Public Good (CPG) that is valid for 12 months, and lock in your solar adjustor rate at -$0.02 / kWH for the life of the system. Locking in the current rate will mean many thousands of dollars of additional solar savings on your electric bills. Don't miss out!

Contract with Building Energy before the end of June and we will help you save thousands over the life of your system!
