FINANCIAL UPDATE
At the end of April, we budgeted for a YTD $101,975 deficit. This is the normal “Atonement cycle” as we begin the year with the deficit that we then cover through Advanced Giving and a strong fall/winter. The good news is that our actual deficit at the end of April was $101,829, so we are $146 in the black for the year so far.
The bad news is that YTD giving is $56,000 less than what we budgeted. YTD 2024 giving is 3.7% lower than YTD 2023 giving. However, we have saved YTD $56,000 in budget expenses, which has kept us in line with our budget.
