Camp Kulaqua in Florida became a hub of spiritual growth and fellowship as approximately 300 Haitian Ministries leaders from across the North American Division (NAD) gathered for a dynamic weekend retreat, May 17-19. The attendees, including pastors and their wives, church elders, deacons, ministry coordinators and directors, and young adults, came together representing churches across the United States and Canada, reflecting the diverse and vibrant nature of the Adventist Haitian community. The event, which takes place every two to three years, featured a packed schedule of workshops focused on training for evangelism, connecting with their local community, and preparing church members for community involvement.

Jesus ministered to the people’s needs and bid them to follow Him. The people and the needs may be different, and the methods may be different, but the message is still the same. The responsibility laid upon each member, young or old, is still the same. In keeping with the Great Commission and understanding that education and evangelism are one, read about four schools in the Atlantic Union Conference that are doing their part to share the good news of the gospel in different ways.
