Call for Presentations
2011 - 2012

Scheduling Events

I hope your week has gotten off to a great start. As the 2011 - 2012 Program Manager, I'm eager to start booking some great events. I've already reached out to some of our presenters from previous years to see if they have any fresh ideas they'd like to share with us, but it dawned on me that we might have some members that would like the opportunity to present. We have so many knowledgeable people within our association that can share from their experiences. If you're one of these people, please contact me and let me know what you're interested in presenting. Below are a list of topics you said you'd like to learn about, but it's by no means comprehensive so if you'd like to present something not on the list, please let me know.

Everyone has tight schedules these days, so you might be wondering what's in it for you. Well, as an STC presenter, you'll receive a certificate of appreciation and recognition at our annual banquet. Plus, as an expert in the field, you'll get the chance to share your knowledge with the rest of the Atlanta technical communications community.

Topics of Interest:

  • Instructional Design
  • Training
  • Tech. Comm. Tools
  • Agile for Tech. Writers
  • Breaking into the Tech. Comm. Industry
  • Usability
  • Content Strategy
  • Content Management
  • Accessibility
  • Project Management
  • Technical Art

Whether you have something to present or not, I'd like to thank all our members for your dedication and support. The Atlanta chapter would be nothing without you.

Sincerely,

Jen Collier
