Cross Country

The Cross Country Team Starts their Season off with a Bang!

The Girl's Team placed 2nd with the top 2 finishers being Lady Falcons.

1st place finish was freshmen, Josephine "Josie" Krulick, who crushed the school record (14:04.4) in her first race with a 12:19.3

2nd place finish went to freshmen, Elena Vizcay, with a 12:31.1.

11th Mia Farias, 13:51.9

18th Julia Hill, 14:33.7

19th Alice Beaird, 14:40.6

Boy's team finished with a respectable 3rd place.

13th Maverick Adam, 11:14.8

16th Apollo Adam, 11:27.7

17th Griffin McGrath, 11:44.8

18th William Campbell.11:49.0

We are so excited for another stellar season with the young talent coming in. We will be seeing more records broken and a lot of PR'S. Stay Tuned!

Vacaville Christian Starts Season with Win Against Foresthill

Is this our time to reclaim one of the better spots in the division again? Just 5 years removed from a section semifinals bid, there is plenty of excitement with this group. They enjoyed a cozy 23-7 win over the Foresthill Wildfires on Friday. freshmen Rocky LuJan quickly put his name on the map, catching a team high 8 passes for 50 yds. Dylan Eddings totaled 40 receiving yds. and was excellent defensively at the safety spot, said head coach Manny Tarango. Tai Douglas, meanwhile, had 32 receiving yds. including a 20 yd. touchdown. The Falcons showed it can run, too: Cody Swain and Jayden Pledger each ran for 50 yds. on 12 carriers, with both also scoring a touchdown. Dakari Carnell "was a monster" defensively in a day that featured a strip sack that helped create a safety. Jaydin Iniquez, Justyn Martinez and Quinton Victor all bursted their way to numerous sacks and hurries in a star studded night for the defensive line.

The early results for this VCS team show it has the pieces across the board.

Volleyball

JV wins their first match of the season against Dixon HS (28-26, 25-22). Setter, Jenna Glide served 5 aces and Zoe Bacinett had the team high in kills with 3. Wednesday, they traveled to St. Pat's/St. Vincents and narrowly lost to a good tean in two sets (21-25, 23-25). The top performer was Josselyn Prothro with 7 kills and 2 aces.

Varsity comes away with a win against Dixon and a tough loss, against a stellar St. Pat's team.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Sports: Physicals & Final Forms

All Final Forms need to be completed before the first official practices. Please sign each form and make sure all emergency information is current (forms will turn green when complete). Your athlete needs to sign their forms as well. Physicals need to be up to date before the first official practice or they will have to sit out until completed.

PE Clothing Orders

The first group of PE clothing has been distributed. The next group should be available after retreat.

If you are still needing clothes, please contact your your child's PE teacher.
