Ms. Susan Phillips, Principal

Week of September 11

We had a great start last week! All students did a great job. Our full day kindergarten students are adjusting nicely. The first graders were rock stars while navigating full days for the first time. There are some photos below of our first week. We are looking forward to seeing what week 2 brings!

Please have your children plan to dress in layers for school or at least keep a sweatshirt or hoodie in their bag or cubby. Some classrooms are warm, some are cold, and that varies daily.

Car Line

Thank you for your patience with the car line. It has gotten a little bit better each day, but it is still a long line, especially in the afternoon. If your children are assigned a bus, we strongly encourage them to ride it. Please teach your child to get in and out of the car on their own. The biggest hold up in the car line is parents getting out of cars.

PBIS - Positive Behavior Intervention Support - We are happy to report we are a PBIS school! Each Day we state our school pledge:

As a student,

on my honor,

I pledge to be Safe,

Respectful, and Responsible

Students reviewed rules and behavior expectations during our PBIS kick off assembly this past Friday. We are teaching our students to be safe, respectful, and responsible on the bus, in the car line, at recess, lunch, in the classroom, hallways, bathrooms, etc.
