August 15: MLS Changes Take Effect Pursuant to the NAR Settlement
All mandatory changes to the MLS polices, governing documents, and practice changes will be implemented for Space Coast MLS effective Thursday, August 15.
Two main changes due to the NAR Settlement that take effect August 15, 2024.
- Removal of all compensation fields in the MLS (Residential, Residential Lease, Residential Income, Commercial, and Land).
- Working with buyers: Required written buyer agreements in place prior to touring property.

Florida Realtors New & Updated Forms:
June 21: New Forms: As of June 27, 2024 these forms are uploaded in Space Coast MLS Transaction Desk.

Form 1: Compensation Agreement - Seller to Buyer's Broker (CASB-1). This new form is a compensation arrangement in which the seller agrees to compensate the buyer's broker for procuring a buyer for a listed property. CLICK HERE TO PREVIEW CASB-1

Form 2: Compensation Agreement - Seller's Broker to Buyer's Broker (CABB-1). This agreement memorializes any agreement between the brokers. The seller's broker, also known as the listing broker, to compensate the buyer's broker for the listed property. This agreement is property specific, and the arrangement between the brokers should relate to the listed property, not serve as a blanket agreement between the brokerages. Form 3: Modification to Compensation Agreement - Seller to Buyer's Broker. This form allows the parties to make changes to any material terms of the underlying compensation agreement between the seller and the buyer's broker. CLICK HERE TO PREVIEW MCA-2

The new HHHP Funding is available as of July 1st
$100 Million Approved for Hometown Heroes Housing Program: Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the 2024-25 budget guaranteeing an additional $100 million to the Hometown Heroes Housing Program (HHHP) for zero-interest down payment and closing cost assistance home loans to fulltime employed Floridians who meet income requirements.
The HHHP financial boost injects new funding into a program that was so successful when it launched that funding was depleted in under two months.

For the entire month of July, thousands of Florida REALTORS® & community partners are coming together to clean up our lakes, rivers, streams, retention ponds, bays, Intercoastal Waterway, Gulf & Ocean. Every effort makes a difference! We hope to see you there.
Friday, July 19th, 9:00 am - 11:00 am
We will be cleaning the side of 528 near the water, between the North Banana River Drive Exit and The Port (Mile Markers 52 & 53).
Refreshments and cleaning supplies will be provided.
