Episcopal Confirmation Classes for Adults

Bishop Doyle will be visiting us on Sunday, August 18^th and he will preside over the service of Confirmation for all adults who wish to be confirmed as an Episcopalian. For those interested, we will be scheduling two Saturdays of classes. In order to be confirmed, you must attend these classes. Please let Fr. Mark know you are interested.  

Fr. Mark will be traveling

 Fr. Mark will be traveling for the next two Sundays. On June 16th, Fr. Agook will be the celebrant, but we have a guest sermon by Mike Black. The following Sunday, June 23rd, we will celebrate Morning Prayer (service without communion) led by Mike Black, with the sermon given by Jonathon Steele. You may read a quick bio of Mr. Steele below.:

Jonathan L. Steele, M.A., is a retreat leader, teacher, and spiritual director, working within the lineage of Christian Wisdom. He accompanies the sick, dying and their families as a hospice chaplain and is the co-founder of Origin + Omega, a company utilizing Wisdom frameworks to transmit the healing force of presence and compassion in the world. He guides groups on pilgrimage in Spain where he previously lived over the course of eight years. He is a former pastor and church planter and is a licensed lay preacher in the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Jonathan holds a Masters in Global Leadership with an emphasis in Recovery Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He currently lives in south Texas with his wife Taryn and their three boys Levi, Jakob, and Lucas.

Summer Sunday School

 We are taking a break over the summer from weekly Sunday School. Mrs. Allison has put together a once a month fun activity to keep our youth connected The next one is July 14 for Outdoor Games. Adults are welcome to join the Tuesday Bible Study, and ladies are welcome to the Ladies Bible Study that meets on Tuesday at 1pm in the church Library.

Tuesday Evening Bible Study is taking a short break

The Tuesday Evening Bible study will resume on July 9th. We look forward to seeing you there.  

Summer Choir

Summer Choir is in session; there is no Wednesday evening rehearsals and no robing, just show up Sunday morning at 9:30 to learn an easy unison or two part anthem! 

Christian Formation

Women's Tuesday Bible Study, 1pm

 The Women's Tuesday Bible Study is a group of amazing women, led by amazing women. Join these ladies every Tuesday at 1pm! Toyin Agboola guides this Bible Study in a safe trustworthy setting as they learn about the Bible. Julie Collins keeps things organized on the administration side, sending out emails, reminders, and the weekly Zoom link. You can contact her at collins_collins@comcast.net and she will happily get you into the swing of things, or just come by!!
