Fr. Mark will be traveling
Fr. Mark will be traveling for the next two Sundays. On June 16th, Fr. Agook will be the celebrant, but we have a guest sermon by Mike Black. The following Sunday, June 23rd, we will celebrate Morning Prayer (service without communion) led by Mike Black, with the sermon given by Jonathon Steele. You may read a quick bio of Mr. Steele below.:
Jonathan L. Steele, M.A., is a retreat leader, teacher, and spiritual director, working within the lineage of Christian Wisdom. He accompanies the sick, dying and their families as a hospice chaplain and is the co-founder of Origin + Omega, a company utilizing Wisdom frameworks to transmit the healing force of presence and compassion in the world. He guides groups on pilgrimage in Spain where he previously lived over the course of eight years. He is a former pastor and church planter and is a licensed lay preacher in the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Jonathan holds a Masters in Global Leadership with an emphasis in Recovery Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He currently lives in south Texas with his wife Taryn and their three boys Levi, Jakob, and Lucas.
