Introducing Artlantis 5, a Revolution in Rendering & Animation

Now that Artlantis 5 has been out for over a month we thought we here at CAD Garage should let you know about updates, support and other resources available to those of you that have upgraded or purchased new licenses.

Artlantis 5.0.2.3 update

Abvent has released a new update, 5.0.2.3 which provides a number of fixes for performance issues related to video cards and Microsoft Framework (Windows) as well as user reported bugs. This update is available as a full download (669MB) or as a patch (1MB) and is available for both the Mac and Windows platforms. It's recommended that you update to this version particularly if you are having any issues. Artlantis Support

If you are having any support issues please let us know. If we can't assist you we will put you in touch with Abvent US Support headed by Chris Stringer (formerly of Objects Online) and if necessary Chris can escalate to the team in Europe. You can (and should) also create a new support ticket on the online support center including your hardware configuration so the support team can better answer your questions. Media

The new media catalog is organized into categories (icons) and subcategories (titles), allowing you to choose in mere seconds the right media for your project. New shaders are also available for Artlantis 5! These can be accesses with the InApp Media Store offering more than 5,000 objects and shaders of all kinds for purchase. You can purchase credit vouchers for Artlantis Media purchases on www.CADgarage.com Credit Voucher page. A 100 credit voucher is $125 and most media is available for just 1 credit. More complex objects are a little more and there are many shaders that are free!

Media Converter App

You can still use Artlantis Media and Shaders that you purchased in the past. There is a Media Converter App to convert your existing Artlantis Media to the new Artlantis Media 5 format. Abvent has posted a tutorial on YouTube here>>
