"Elements", an exhibition including the Sculpture of Vic Goldsmith and Paintings by Bonnie Spiegel is open at the Maine Jewish Museum. Both these artists grew up in New York and have lived in Maine for many years.

Vic Goldsmith has a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell and a Masters of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design. His abstract wood sculptures are in private collections all over the United States and beyond, specifically Italy. Vic has exhibited in New York, Rhode Island and most prominently DownEast Maine. This is his first exhibition in Portland.

Bonnie Spiegel, a realist painter, has a BFA from Cooper Union School of Art and also attended Boston University. This exhibition includes trees from different seasons in Maine. She has established herself as a well respected teacher throughout the state, as well as an accomplished artist who has exhibited throughout New England and beyond.
