Washington County Public Schools Art Exhibition
Washington County Public Schools Art Exhibition, Secondary (middle and high school): May 4–19, 2024. Works of student art from kindergarten through grade 12 showcase the artistic talents and dedication of public school students and their teachers. Extended hours are Thursdays, April 18 and 25, and May 9 and 16, until 8 p.m.
Organized by Washington County Public Schools. This exhibition is graciously supported by Volvo Group Trucks, Washington County Arts Council, Michael and Rochell Morrell, and Louis Kawaja.

Past, Present, Future: Get to Know Your Art Museum

Do you know the fascinating history of the Washington County Fine Arts Museum? On Friday, May 10, Executive Director of the WCMFA Sarah Hall will touch on key aspects of the museum’s history, while sharing the museum’s vision for expansion, hosting ambitious exhibitions, and creating an arts campus in City Park. This month’s cocktail is the French 75, a refreshing and sparkling drink made from gin, champagne, lemon juice, and sugar. Doors open at 5:30 PM and light hors d'oeuvres will be served!

Horochowski’s retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairytale is an action packed adventure for an audience of all ages. This original ballet features dancers from The Western Maryland City Ballet Company and The City Ballet School with a score arranged exclusively for City Ballet.
