Vermont Creative Sector Legislative Halftime Report | |

After a week of recess for Town Meeting Day, legislators have returned to Montpelier. Legislative "crossover" is here, when bills must pass from their chamber of origin to the other in order to stay in play, or be shelved for the year.
The Vermont Arts Council and the Vermont Creative Network continues its advocacy to elevate the voices of the creative sector.

The Vermont Arts Council is funded, in part, by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, which requires a 1:1 match from the Vermont State Legislature. Council grants, programs, and statewide arts promotion would not be possible without the critical funding provided by these government agencies.
