The impulse to strive, to achieve, and to perfect one's self has possibly overcome our ability to know when we really are Okay...just as we are.  A serene sense of contentment, pleasure, and gratitude, feeling and being Okay is quite nice and eminently attainable.  Well-intended advice tells us to be rid of our past pain and failure if we are to move forward. What are they thinking !?!? We are human, and we are comprised of all of our experiences.  Even while we may cope with pain, grief, sadness, and disappointment at our own pace, we simultaneously do move forward. One day at a time.  One gentle Okay moment at a time.

Be kind to yourself and all those you meet this week and always.
