Cancer Survivors Fair

Art with a Heart artists guided survivors in a project to celebrate their win over cancer. Painted leafs were placed with care on a large illustrated tree that stands as a beacon of hope and accomplishment. The completed project is titled "The Tree Of Life" and is a great example of the power of collaboration.

This beautiful collage is the collaborative work of the children and family members of the Ronald McDonald House and Art with a Heart in Healthcare artists in residence. The piece was masterfully created for McGala 2015. We are thrilled to have been a part of such a wonderful experience.

Ronald McDonald House Extension

We are pleased to announce the extension of our services to the Ronald McDonald House through May 2017. With the help from our outstanding volunteers and artist in residence we will be able to help more families than ever! Thank you Ronald McDonald House for allowing AWAHIH to grow with you.

JAGZ Event

The Jaguars Women's Association," Just Among Girlz" (JAGZ) event at One Ocean Resort and Spa was held for girls battling cancer at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Art with a Heart in Healthcare was proud to be a part of the great event, guiding the girls through the creation of a beautiful sunset painting.

Jacksonville Country Day School Art for Eli

In Honor Of Eli

The students of Jacksonville Country Day School in honor of Eli Kavalieros donated small canvas paintings of the letter E and came loaded with art supplies that will be used in art sessions and in our Art-to-Go bags for our patients. Thank you!

The Art of Giving

We are pleased to announce the additions of our new Artists in Residence Matt Richards, Samantha Solley, Anne Roberts and Korey Cunningham. We also welcome Todd Rykaczewski who will be stepping in as our Marketing Director.

Pints For Paint

On Thursday, May 28th raising a cold beer with friends also meant raising money for art supplies. Thanks to the Jacksonville Jaycees, the Aardwolf Brewery and all the patrons for their presence and generous donations. Cheers to all of you involved!

AWAHIH would like to thank Bob Drost, Shawn Meharg, Shaw Lane and Alli Flores for being our visiting artists this last quarter. As always, Bob did an outstanding job visiting the little ones at their bedside and bringing smiles through his caricatures. Shawn brought some bedside fun to his sessions by drawing sea creatures with the children. Shaw and Alli from Jacksonville Country Day also contributed to the magic with their amazing print making skills.
