Greetings!
For those of you in the Eastern seaboard of the US, I hope "Irene" wasn't to harsh on you and yours and that you're all well and getting back into your regular activities. I'm so glad it's over! God willing, we won't get another one like it for many years to come!! Now some GOOD NEWS! My studio is finally done! and I've been very busy moving in, which kept me away from my monthly writing... but It feels so nice to be back! I really missed you! Okay, so... studio finished, check! moving in, check! finding a place for everything, check! start working in the new space, check!... I feel I'm missing something... oh yes! a grand opening, of course! To invite you all my patient readers, who kept following the progress as construction went along. So, in appreciation, I'm planing the grand opening for November. More details to come on our next installment. Stay tuned! :) In the meantime, I'm keeping busy with exhibitions here and there and attempting something new to me. I was invited, many months back, to participate at the new Fall Edition of the Affordable Art Fair in New York City. I'm pretty optimistic with this new endeavor, so please, if you are near by, stop by booth F-4 and show your support! It would mean the world to me! Also, I would like to invite you tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14th, to the opening of IN THE PINK, a celebration in preparation for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Come a nd celebrate woman's strength, beauty, and healing at the sixth annual "In the Pink" National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Artworks will be displayed at: Hygienic, TseTse, Expressiones, Spirit and Provenance Galleries in New London, CT.

Open Doors 2011 - Charity Auction

The Downtown Milford 4th Annual Open Doors and Windows Art Exhibit is coming to an end with its Charity Auction! Presented by the Downtown Milford Business Association, this is their biggest year ever with 37 Artists represented and Corina is one of them.

September 18th
Doors open at 4:00 pm and the auction starts promptly at 5:00 pm. Refreshments and wine will be served throughout the evening for registered bidders.

Proceeds for this year's auction will go to the Domestic Violence Services of Greater New Haven. The mission of Domestic Violence Services is to create an environment that supports individual safety and breaks the cycle of domestic violence.
The doors and windows creations are gorgeous this year, so don't miss your chance to come back home with an unique artwork and with the added bonus of having helped a great cause!
