This month we welcome both Pride Month and National Indigenous Peoples Month. We celebrate queer joy and being ourselves! We've also rounded up lots of Pride events happening throughout the month around the Region and more! Make sure to scroll through and see what you can find. We hope to see you around.

We continue to alternate between virtual and in-person youth groups weekly on Tuesdays for Waterloo Region youth ages 12-18. Here are your June themes:

June 4 - Virtual Youth Group: Welcoming Pride!

This week we’re kicking off Pride Month with some trivia, some art, and of course, some fun virtual games!

June 11 - In-Person Youth Group: Gender Variant Working Group

This week we are joined by members of the Gender Variant Working Group who are going to share info on all things safety and gender affirming practices!

June 18 - Virtual Youth Group: Celebrating Queer Joy

Sometimes Pride Month can be hard as we reflect and teach about the history of and on-going harm happening to 2SLGBTQIA+ folks across the world. Join us to spend some time recentering and taking the opportunity to talk about queer joy, and how important it is for each of us.

June 25 - In-Person Youth Group: Project Runway (But Make it Gay!)

Make it work! Join us for (and compete in) the ultimate outfit ensemble creation and fashion show competition KW has ever seen.
