Putting the ART in PARTY!

In May, we hosted a Lil' Chip fused glass party with Copper Moon Studios from Holland, OH. Two artists led sisters in the process to make glass suncatchers. Each suncatcher turned out as beautiful and unique as the sisters who made it! These suncatchers will become part of our Wolbring Society Legacy Giving program. When donors inform our Mission Advancement office of their intent to make the Sisters of Notre Dame beneficiaries in their estate plans, the sisters will gift that donor one of these handmade pieces. Sunday Fun-Day

On June 9, sisters and staff invited their families to celebrate Sunday Fun-Day! God blessed us with the perfect day to enjoy lunch, games, crafts, a photo booth, face painting and, of course, an ice cream sundae bar! Many thanks to our wellness committee for planning this great event and for reminding us of the many health benefits of social connectedness!

ROOT, ROOT, ROOT FOR THE HOME TEAM!

On June 27, sisters, staff, friends and family members enjoyed a beautiful evening at the Toledo Mud Hens baseball game. We were welcomed to Fifth Third Field with a message on the JumboTron, had perfect seats behind third base with a great view of the action and enjoyed classic ballpark hot dogs. The night was filled with laughter, fellowship and fun as we cheered our team to a thrilling 9-4 victory over Louisville. The Mud Hens fought hard and their win made the night even more special, but the best part of the evening was being together!
