Reminder about Missed Appointments/Late Notice Cancellations
As many of you know, the dental industry is struggling with a severe shortage of workers, especially hygienists and assistants. At Eggert Family Dentistry, we are dedicated to quality care and exceptional service. We understand that life is busy and sometimes emergencies come up that make it difficult to come to your previously scheduled dental appointments. However, we respect the importance of your time and work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate your needs. In return, we ask that you make every effort to commit to your appointments. Unfortunately, with all the increased costs for products and labor, as well as stagnant dental insurance reimbursements, we have no other option but to consistently charge for missed appointments or appointments canceled with late notice.

In addition, this summer, we will be sad to see one of our hygienists move to Wisconsin with her family and we will stand behind another one of our hygienists as she needs time off to work through some medical issues. This means that especially this summer, and until we can hire another amazing hygienist to join our team, every appointment is precious and we cannot have appointments go unfilled. We thank you for your understanding of these matters and hope that you will make yourselves available should we need to contact you about any changes to your upcoming appointments.

Patient Story
Seattle Protocol Therapy – Molly's Story

During Molly's recare appointment, she had questions regarding a recent sleep study where she was diagnosed with Mild Sleep Apnea. Her doctor gave her a CPAP machine to use, but it wasn't working well for her. Molly wanted to know if there were other options available. To help her get a good night's sleep and reduce fatigue, we introduced her to the Seattle Protocol, which is a six-step process that provides non-invasive nighttime appliance alternatives to CPAP therapy. Read more about what the Seattle Protocol did for her and how she's sleeping now! 👇
