Call for Applications: Creative Impact Fund - Assembly for the Arts

Assembly for the Arts introduces the Creative Impact Fund (CIF), an unrestricted grant designed to support the growth of an artist’s creative practice and advance their impact on the region. The CIF will award seventeen forward-thinking artists and creatives with a grant of unrestricted funds in addition to business development support. The CIF is open to artists living and working in Cuyahoga County, Ohio who have been creating impactful and inventive artistic work for three or more years in the disciplines of craft, dance, design, film, interdisciplinary work, media, music, theatre & performance, traditional arts, visual art, and writing/literary art.

Deadline: May 31, 2024 at 11:59PM

Grant Amount: $10,000

Call for Applications: Processing Foundation Fellowship Program

The Processing Foundation has announce the open call for their 2024 Fellowship Program, themed ‘Sustaining Community: Expansion & Access.’ They seek to support innovative projects from artists, designers, activists, educators, engineers, researchers, coders, collectives, and many more, who are working at the intersection of creative technology, art, and open-source software. The fellowship includes a commitment of 200 hours to proposed projects over the course of June 15 - October 31, 2024. The topics associated with this year are Archival Practices: Code & New Media, Open-Source Governance, Disability Justice in Creative Tech, and Access & AI.

Call for Applications: The Vanguard Arts Fund

The Vanguard Arts Fund at Olney Theatre Center provides developmental support to diverse teams of artists interested in creating theatrical works. From the early drafts of a new play, to a concept for a classic adaptation to the first song of a musical, they provide workshop time for various stages of a work’s development process. A successful proposal for new work will bring together more than one generative artist in an interdisciplinary fashion to explore new or classic stories.

Artist Opportunities grants support Ohio artists who have opportunities that will significantly impact their professional growth or have projects that will contribute to the vitality of their community. This grant is open to artists of all disciplines, at any stage of their career, and include all types of artistic practice. Applicants can be classified as emerging or professional. All applicants must be a resident of Ohio for at least 8 months and throughout the duration of funding year.

Award: $500 - $2,500
