Are you going to the 61st Annual AECA Conference? The 2023 conference will be held at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock, October 11-14. You can choose from many interest sessions and special tracks for Leadership, Advocacy, and Family Child Care. A-State Childhood Services is sponsoring the Leadership track on Thursday and Friday. We invite all program administrators to join us for the A-State Director's luncheon on Thursday.

To search for trainings in PDR using a Course ID#
-
Go to the Arkansas Professional Development Registry website at www.arkpdr.com
- In the Registry ID box enter your PDR number and in the Password box enter the password that you created for your account.
- Click the blue "Log In" button
- Click on “My Trainings”
- Click on “Search for Trainings”
- Type the Course ID number in the search bar.
- Click “Search” and the training should pop up on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Follow the instructions for registering and accessing the course.

2023 ABC Refreshers Close September 30! | |
|
The ABC Refreshers will close on September 30. All participants will need to submit their Google Reflection form by the end of the work day on September 30, and PDR credit will be applied following the closing date. The ABC Refreshers will reopen for one month in February 2024.
Each program has received an email outlining steps to accessing the ABC ECERS-3 and ABC ITERS-3 Refresher. If you did not receive an email or have any questions, please reach out to your ERS Regional Coordinator.

Physical Activity and Nutrition Professional Development
The OST team is pleased to announce 25 Professional Development Opportunities in PDR that are available on-line and on-demand. There are now 11 OST Nutrition sessions and 14 OST Physical Activity sessions.
A-State Childhood Services Out of School Time (OST) team has partnered with The Alliance for a Healthier Generation to offer these courses that meet the requirements for Professional Development for OST Administrators and staff within the Better Beginnings requirements.
