Dear Archway Friends and Family,
I hope everyone is taking time to get out and enjoy the warm weather with family and friends. Summer goes by quickly; before we know it, it will be September.
As we continue into the summer months, we see many exciting activities and opportunities for growth happening across our organization. Our programs, Just Kids and AADP, continuously reach out to those needing our services and bring them on board. Our schools are attracting new students, and our group home residents continue to thrive.
I want to welcome our students and teachers back for the Extended School Year (ESY) Program. Your dedication to continued learning and growth during the summer months is truly commendable. We are excited to see the progress and achievements of our students in the coming weeks.
I am also pleased to share that our Advanced Abilities Day Program recently hosted its first annual Friends and Family Summer Bash at our Sewell location. This event was a resounding success, providing an excellent opportunity for our program participants to connect with their loved ones and celebrate a successful first year—the first of many.
During the event, our staff provided informative tours of the facility, highlighting the many activities and services available to our participants. The tours offered families and friends a firsthand look at our diverse and engaging daily programs while also offering families needing our services a look at what we do. We are all excited about the future of this program and the many lives we will touch with our services.
The initiatives to grow our Archway Family highlight our ongoing commitment to providing services and support to those we serve in our community. As always, I am grateful for the hard work and passion each of you brings to our daily mission.
I appreciate your support as we continue positively impacting those in our care.
Sincerely,
George Richards
CEO/CFO

AADP Celebrates its 1st Annual Friends and Family Summer Bash
After rainy skies caused a one-day delay, staff members and participants from the Archway Advanced Abilities Day Program (AADP) opened their doors to the community. On July 25th, a sunny Thursday afternoon, AADP celebrated its first anniversary with friends and family, music, and great food!
The AADP staff served baked macaroni and cheese, chilled salads, baked beans, and other tasty side dishes alongside grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. Everyone gathered around the picnic tables to enjoy music and delicious food; for a sweet ending, they enjoyed fresh fruit, cupcakes, and soft pretzels.
Enthusiastic potential participants, accompanied by their families and guardians, eagerly explored the grounds and took building tours. They were excited to learn about the program's diverse services, including day trips, work-study, volunteer work, and more. Many guests expressed their desire to join the program shortly; staff were on hand to guide them through the enrollment process.
Shawn Gibson, Archway's Executive Vice President/COO, attended the festivities and greeted the staff, families, and participants, expressing pride and gratitude for the success of Archway’s latest service program.

Summer Adventures at Just Kids: July Recap
July was filled with exciting activities and adventures for Just Kids participants!
We explored the wonders of the underwater world at the Camden Adventure Aquarium.
Our Cape May County Park and Zoo trip was a roaring success! The children loved seeing all the animals and learning about their habitats.
The kids had a blast during the potato sack races, and the hula-hoop contests were a big hit!
Our nature-inspired creativity session was a hit! We made bee hives from bubble wrap, a fun project that taught the kids about the importance of bees in our ecosystem.
And, of course, with the July heat, we cooled off with some splashing fun during swimming days!
We can't wait to see what adventures August brings!

Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts Highlights Success of Archway Work Study Program
Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts showcased the Archway Work Study Program this month. Students Michael and Jose gained hands-on experience in the flower shop, learning to process, unpack, trim, remove thorns, and sort flowers into designated buckets.
The highlight of their experience was creating two beautiful floral basket arrangements using a variety of assorted blooms. We are immensely proud of both young men and grateful to the caring and dedicated leadership and staff who provided these students with an opportunity to excel. Their success is a testament to the Archway program's effectiveness.
