It's a little pre-architecture week fun! Join us for Architecture after 5 at Timberlake Construction on Thursday, April 11th!

YOU CAN HELP US PROMOTE ARCHITECTS & ARCHITECTURE DURING ARCHITECTURE WEEK!

During Architecture Week, we will have a social media campaign promoting architects and architecture. You can help by choosing ONE and submitting the information by Saturday, April 13, 2024.

1). Project spotlight. Send us two photos of one of your projects, along with the firm logo and your headshot. Please also include the location of the project and a short description of the project (200 words or less).

2). Tell us your favorite piece of Oklahoma Architecture and why it's your favorite. Please submit an image of the building along with your headshot, name and firm.

3). Tell us why you chose architecture and along with it, submit your headshot, firm and number of years you've been in the profession.

AIA ARCHITECTURE TOUR

We'll kick off Architecture Week with the 2024 AIA Architecture Tour on Saturday, April 13th from noon - 5:00 p.m.!

OKC FOUNDATION FOR ARCHITECTURE'S TIMELESS TEASURES TOUR

On Tuesday, April 16th the Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture will host a tour which highlights OKC's American House Styles. The tour will be led by Lisa Chronister, FAIA.

OKC FOUNDATION FOR ARCHITECTURE'S OKLAHOMANMADE ARCHITECTURE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT

Join the Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture on Wednesday, April 17th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. for the OKLAHOMANMADE Architecture Photography Exhibit at the AIA/OCFA Office. We will announce the photography winners and present our 2024 OCFA Architecture Scholarships. Light snacks and beverages provided.

WOMEN IN ARCHITECTURE EDUCATION DAY

On Thursday, April 18th the Women in Architecture will be visiting Bethany Schools to let students experience a day in the life of an architect. We have a fun architecture activity planned for the kids and they will meet and work with our women architects.

AIA ARCHITECTURE AWARDS CELEBRATION

Join us for the AIA Central Oklahoma Awards Celebration on Friday, April 19th! We will honor our People & Places with the presentation of awards to our Honor Award Winners and our Design Award Winners. We'll also recognize our newest Fellows. AND we'll hear from our jury chair, Brad Tomecek, FAIA of Tomecek Studio in Denver. Our event emcee will be Josh Dougherty, PE of CEC.
