AIA Continuing Ed continues
Earlier this year, American Institute of Architects (AIA) certified SelecTech as an ESD flooring instructor for its continuing education program. With this designation, SelecTech began conducting lunch-and-learn sessions for AIA member firms so staff members who also were AIA members could earn credits. SelecTech most recently held a lunch-and-learn session with Robert Olson Architects.
SelecTech’s Joe Berkowitz visited Robert Olson Architect’s 314 Congress Street office in Boston to give a presentation on green and sustainable flooring. A featured part of the presentation covered how to align your client needs and desires with the proper green and sustainable floor.
Robert Olson’s entire staff was on hand for the presentation, which included a large amount of interaction with the group and a Q&A. Many attendees shared their stories from the field and how this category has evolved changes throughout their careers.
Each AIA member who attended the session earned three learning units toward their AIA Continuing Education requirements for Health, Safety and Welfare.
