On Sep 6, Jennifer Palmer announced she is shutting down archaeologyfieldwork.com. Jennifer wrote: “I am no longer able to dedicate as much time as the site requires to keep up with postings”. Archaeologyfieldwork.com has been running since 1996, publishing many government jobs at both the federal and state levels, providing valuable service to the CRM community. ShovelBums, another CRM job site, publish almost exclusively private sector CRM jobs.
The CRM sector is growing by leaps and bounds, and there are many more job postings this year than ever before (Fig 1). It is vital to for CRM professionals to have a single access point where they can explore job posting from both the private and public sector. Twin Cairns is working hard to ensure all job posts will be available on a single website. Further, users may sign up for our daily jobs alerts and get all daily job posts directly to their email Inbox. Finally, Twin Cairns Intelligence Unit publish monthly and quarterly job reports, keeping employers and employees informed on job availability, wages and benefit trends.
Since Jan 1 of this year, we published 229 government, 782 private sector and 44 museum & nonprofit organization jobs. We will continue to do so in years to come, providing the community with the broader possible, single sourced, CRM job board.
